Ms. Leah C. Tanodra-Armamento

Ms. Leah C. Tanodra-Armamento is the Honorable ommissioner of the Commission on Human Rights, Philippiness. She has been in government service for three decades. Her active involvement in the sector of human rights seems an exemplary endeavor. The Commissioner also has worked for five years with the office of the Solictor General as an Associate Solicitor, where she assisted the solicitors in habeas corpus cases. During, her work tenure at the Department of Justice; she created the Task Force on agrarian Justice and established the guidelines in handling agrarian dispute-related criminal complaints. Her several reforms while in the position is valued. In addition, She also held a post at the Philippine National Police Reform Commission as the Secretariat Chairperson. Her immense contribution in the final peace agreement’s implementation between Government of Philippines (GPH) and Moro National Liberation Front (MILF) is highly appreciated.
