Dr. Binda Pandey (Ph.D.) is serving as Honorable Member of House of Representatives in Federal Parliament. 1993 onwards she has become full time trade union activists and presently she is chairing the GEFONT-TUPI, a think organization. Since, 2011 she has been representing trade union of Asia Pacific in ILO-GB. Ms. Pandey was Founder member of National Women Commission formed by government in 2002 and later served as chair of the Fundamental Right and Directive Principle Committee of the then Constituent Assembly in 2008. Her Ph.D. Dissertation ‘Women Empowerment in Political: a case study of Communist Party of Nepal- Unified Marxist-Leninist (CPN-UML) through Feminist Inquiry”, has been published as book entitled “Women in Nepali Politics” in 2019.
